In the year 1419 of the Shire-reckoning, the peaceful hills of the Shire witnessed an unprecedented uprising as brave hobbits, led by returned warriors Merry, Pippin, and Sam, faced off against Sharkey's ruffians in the greatest battle fought on hobbit soil. Nearly 70 hobbits stood against 100 Men, resulting in the death of 19 hobbits and nearly 70 invaders, marking the end of Saruman's tyrannical control over the Shire.

Once upon a time, a respectable hobbit named Bilbo Baggins lived a quiet life in his cozy hobbit-hole at Bag End. He loved his comfortable home in the Shire and enjoyed simple pleasures like food and pipe-weed. But his world turned upside down when the wizard Gandalf and thirteen dwarves, led by Thorin Oakenshield, arrived at his door. They needed a burglar for a dangerous quest to reclaim their treasure from the fearsome dragon, Smaug, at the Lonely Mountain. Against his better judgment, Bilbo joined the adventure. Along the way, he faced trolls, goblins, and giant spiders. In a dark cave beneath the Misty Mountains, he found a magic ring that could make him invisible. This ring, which he won in a riddle game against a creature named Gollum, would later be known as the One Ring. Bilbo's bravery grew, and he played a crucial part in the Battle of Five Armies.

In the autumn of Third Age 3018, representatives of Middle-earth's free peoples gathered in the elven sanctuary of Rivendell. Elves, Dwarves, Men, and Hobbits united in a secret meeting that would change the fate of their world.
