From the dark forges of Eöl the Dark Elf emerged a sentient black blade of meteoric iron, first named Anglachel, later reforged and renamed Gurthang - Iron of Death. This talking sword served as both salvation and curse to the tragic hero Túrin Turambar, drinking the blood of friend and foe alike before finally granting its master's wish for death upon its own black edge.

Nestled in a deep valley where the Misty Mountains meet the Bruinen River lies an ethereal Elven sanctuary, where ancient wisdom meets timeless beauty. This Last Homely House East of the Sea served as a refuge for the Free Peoples of Middle-earth, hosting both the quest to reclaim Erebor and the fellowship that would destroy the One Ring.
